Re: What's the deal with the Sprint/Nextel Merger?

The i880 is only an iDen phone, there are 2 new hybrid phones, the series "ic" begining with ic402. This phone use CDMA for the voice calls and Sprint power vision and iDEN only for walike talkie, direct talk and group call. You can find a map with the CDMA, iDEN and hybrid coverage in this page:

Anyway, I like the new hybrid phone because the signal strenght, but its too big and is not pretty by now. I prefer the i880 for the camera, bluetooh and size.

Re: What's the deal with the Sprint/Nextel Merger?

The Hyrbid (i502?) is out in Boston. There are cops who have got it who are so far giving it the thumbs up. I am a cop and use Nextel now. I will let my peers shake the bugs out then I will get one if it gets continued good reviews. I also want more selections of phones.

BTW. The i502 Hyrbid seems similar to the i560 (I have the i560).

I tell you the deal.I think that since they merged the service sucks, and so does the customer service for the most part.I seems as if whenever I talk to service rep. 9 out of 10 times I cant understand them.
