you need the patcher. if you need the webJAL patcher, which i can give you, logon to AIM....NxlKing2304! The patcher should have been in the .zip file you recieved from us. Place the patcher into the folder where you installed webjal (Usually it's C:\ProgramFiles\Motorola\iDEN WebJAL\)
Once you place the patcher into the right folder, run the patcher before you run webjal! Click Install, and let the patcher install itself. Once completed, click exit. Now you can run webjal as normal.........Username & Password can be left blank......Just click OK!!!!! DONE!!!!

as NxlKing2304 posted in another forum:
"As we all know, webjal's servers are down. Here's how to fix the problem: start menu, then run, and type in REGEDIT, then follow the steps below 0. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE 1. Expand Software 2. Expand Motorola 3. Select WebJAL 4. Double click "SITE_URL" 5. Put the following URL in the EDITABLE text box: http://ssl.perfora.net/s93852921.onl...0102/index.php 6. Select Ok 7. Exit Registry Editor 8. Run WebJAL 9. Select Login 10. Leave box blank 11. Select Ok 12. Done. | Credit goes to the many people posting it at all the various iDEN forums."

Wallpaper Problem...
I have the 730, everything is done and ready to go... I download a WP to my phone and it says all DL's are complete or whatever it says, and when I go to the WP's and "view" it... all I get is a white screen, so I accept just to see if it needs to be selected first, and it still gives me a white screen, any suggestions?... and also.. I can not seem to get webjal to allow me to choose .wav's instead of the .midi files when trying to select file type.... thanks

The reason for the Ringtones Breaking Up and the Wallpaper not loading is that the server that your webjal is connecting to is down which is causing it not to load properly. I am in the process of trying to find a new crack for webjal to make it work properly.

I860 Communication Issue
After reading this board for the last 2 days and following several suggestions from other members, I finally have to bite the bullet and post the problem I am having. I have read the several threads by many people regarding WebJAL. and still cannot upload anything to my phone.
Please excuse my ignorance to terminolgy, but I have had a Blackberry with the regular ringtones for the last 2 years. This is the first time I have tried this so please bare with me. 1. I installed WebJAL version R01.01.03 2. I installed the webJALpatcher from the same directory as WebJAL 3. I installed the USB drivers. 4. I converted an .mp3 to .wav 5. Made it 30 seconds 8bit mono 6. Signed onto WebJAL 7. Choose USB under preferences 8. The phone connected 9. Added the file from its directory 10. Clicked download The file begins to transfer, but a communication error toward the end of the transfer. Any suggestions? ![]() Last edited by jafo399 : 10-19-2004 at 10:37 AM. |
