My computer cannot read my I730.

I cannot seem to get my computer to read my phone. When I open WebJal I can login with the patch but when I try to connect to phone it comes up with message that says "The Application was unable to read the required phone information. Please check your cable connection and your prefrences. Click retry to try again or cancel to stop. When I plug my phone in my computer makes a sound so I know it is plugged in correctly but WebJal wont read it. Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong? Thanks so much in advance.

Is it a usb cable? If so, you need to click preferences and check USB connection. Hope this helps.

Yes it is a USB cable and I did that. I dunno what could be wrong.

I dunno how but I got it working, I installed my phone as a wireless modem and then something else wanted to install after the modem I didn't see what it was but that is what got it to work. Thank though

How did you install your phone as a wireless modem? I'm having the same problem you had.

When you have it hooked up go to add new hardware.

under preferences, have you checked the box that reads "Connect via USB connection"?
