what specific issues are you having loading mp3 files you should not have any, I have used both programs and the only issues I have ever had were with the mp3 file not being converted correctly if at all.

easy fix

Just go to the drop down box that says midi click on it and it should give you more options like midi, wav, mp3, and one that will show all files select which ever you want it should work fine.

it would be the same process that you would use to put ringers on an i730 or an i90 or whatever just pick the mp3 files and it will work fine if you don't know how to load ringers onto ANY phone search this website it has been posted at least 100 times SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND!!! to help speed thing up look for webJal or myJal that is a start.

Talking

the true mp3 format cannot be put on this phone but you can convert any mp3 to .wav and that would work.|

So let's get this clear, you CANNOT put any MP3 file ringtone on the i860. Correct? I've tried everything and it can't be done. I can ONLY get .WAV file ringtones set at 8,000hz, 8 bit, Mono on my i860.

it doesnt really matter there basically the same thing, aint ? to download the whole mp3 u just need to type the whole file name or type *.mp3 and upload which takes a lot of time and alot of memory. for that hustle i would just downloadf the part i like and upload thine ringer.
