HELP! Problems with uploading songs to my phone

I have done this many times and had no problems but I have not done it in a while and am having some problems that are very frustrating. Altho this will be a newbie question, I need help. Ok I use cool edit pro and dpoweramp before using webjal to upload songs to my phone. The error I am getting after the song gets done uploading is this. The mobile device has experienced a communication problem with the computer system. This is caused by corrupted media, incorrect media format. I have the cool edit pro could you please tell me what the sample rate is to be set to channels and resolution. I have it set to 44100 mono 8 bit. Then I go to dbpoweramp and I am not sure what to do because it gives me wave, mp3(lame) real audio and then wave again. I have been choosing wave and my settings are set as follows Wave (pcm) format 8,000kHz 8 bit Mono... Any help would be great! I must be doing something wrong but I cant figure it out.
