how do i load ringtones and wallpapers on this thing the myjal apollo edition that i was using on my i860 isn't workin can someone help me out ?

ringtones you say forget myjal, webjal etc. also forget any other of the new phones between this and the themes witch i posted in the software section it just doesnt get any easier thanx to the smartphone os....

here is a ringtone faq enjoy....

This is how to load ringtones into your i930

* Plug your handset into the usb cable
* then go to my computer and open up mobile device
* then click my smartphone
* then click the storage folder
* then open up the application data
* then open up the sounds folder
* then drag the ringtone that you want into the folder
Now you have successfully loaded the ringtone into your i930

How do I get caller id to display pictures on my phone when someone is calling? My 860 does it with out a problem but I can't find the function that allows you to choose the picture a contact has.

There is not picture id on the I930 phone. Its crazy that its not on there. I cant wait till the I870 comes out. This phone was a waste of money.

yes there is...i have the 930 and i got photo caller id and it works beautiful theres a program u have to get for it tho...

Is anyone out there getting more than 4hrs standby from your i930 battery? I took my phone off the charger at 8am, when to the barbershop, sent 2 MMS's while waiting. got home at 10am and my battery was beeping. A nextel rep said this is normal!

Anyone else having power problems?

I bought one of those custom Nextel I930 Cds off Ebay. It comes loaded with ringtones, regular & animated wallpapers, themes, etc...as well as the programs to create them & transfer them to the phone.

As soon as I get it, I'll post back.

Ok back, I played around with my I930 & am loving it. have had it over a week now.

I checked out the i930 custom CD I bought off eBay (ringtones, games, wallpapers, etc) I DLed (Down Loaded) animated wallpapers to my I930, it's really kool.

I just DLed "PHOTO CONTACTS" program to my I930, this program is needed for having Caller PIC-ID. You transfer it to your I930 using the USB cradle via Active Sync program that comes with the phone.

All you do is place your I930 into the craddle, make sure the cradle is connected to USB port on your PC, open up Active Sync program, run the Photo Contacts program, it will transfer to your phone, on your phone you accept, it DLs, then you have to power off your phone & power back on, for the installation to complete.

Once that's done, you find the Photo Contacts program loaded on your I930 by going to Start.

I don't have PICs yet, but the programs lets you customize the PICs & also the layouts.

does any one have problems with nextel text messaging

i jus bout a i 870 i have a question do u expirience problems with nextels text messaging service like getting replies to text mssgs from a diffrent service carrier hours late or not gettin them at all
