Questions about the i930

Well, why don't you enlighten me as to how I should use my i930? What about all the text messages that have been sent to me in the last week since I have gotten my phone that never came through?

If I am to use MMS, thats fine...but how can I recieve my friends' messages who still use SMS?

Sorry for posting this here. But has anybody heard anything about the new Nextel i920 phone? I saw a couple of horrible pics on another site and was wondering if anyone else has heard or seen anything regarding this phone.

I checked out the i930 custom CD I bought off eBay (ringtones, games, wallpapers, etc) I DLed (Down Loaded) animated wallpapers to my I930, it's really kool.

I just DLed "PHOTO CONTACTS" program to my I930, this program is needed for having Caller PIC-ID. You transfer it to your I930 using the USB cradle via Active Sync program that comes with the phone.

All you do is place your I930 into the craddle, make sure the cradle is connected to USB port on your PC, open up Active Sync program, run the Photo Contacts program, it will transfer to your phone, on your phone you accept, it DLs, then you have to power off your phone & power back on, for the installation to complete.

Once that's done, you find the Photo Contacts program loaded on your I930 by going to Start.

I don't have PICs yet, but the programs lets you customize the PICs & also the layouts.

why dont you call nextel and tell them to resend service to your phone and it might work, I had some what the same problem with my i920 and that is because i have the original sim card, i talked to tech. support and they made me turn of the phone-didn't work, then they made me master reset my phone-didn't work, then they were gonna make me talk with the motorola Co. itself, but then remembered one final trick, to resend service and then power off my phone, and power it back on, and sure enough it worked!!!

Hey i have been a nextel customer for twelve years....always had service issues but the direct connect is soooo wonderful that im having trouble parting ways with it... anyway.. I bought one of the first i930 about 2 years ago and thought "great a smart phone this will be amazing" but because it was one of the first smart phones it seems to never do anything that all other smart phones can do (pisses me off). I even bought the exteded batterey and still don't get a day out of a charge. So my question to you all is there any rumor or fact that their will be a smart windows phone better than the I930 in the near future??? I look forward to reading your insight on this!!
