Txt mess..

Nextel has one of the slowest text mess servers. So getting them late from other carriers sometimes is common. Sorry, there more about the walkie-talkie then the text mail.

Recently they worked on there towars to upgrade the messaging service so it might be a little faster now.

text messaging with i870

I have a i930 and prior to this i had an i860. Yes i have had some issues with other people getting my txt hours past or myself getting them late also. I am not sure if its the cell or if its the actual network by nextel. before i have called when i experienced the issue and they said they had a network outage, but i haven't called recently. I am located in michigan.

correct.|

unless you have nextel2nextel texts, it is really lagging, try to tell the people that text you to make it a "urgent message" and this way they will usually get to you faster.|

Ells and Nextel have alot in common they both SUCK when they want to and both don't suck at times. They are kinda like your bitch at that time of month. Sometimes nextels network works fine but most of the time its slow and annoying. Unfortunately ells was right again label all text messages urgent and it helps it go faster. The i930 is cool I just don't need a tank attached to my waist and the i870 can do everything the i930 can just with windows mobile.

there is an adaptor for the SD slot to make the handset be BT capable available on ---click-------->WORLDPHONE<---------click-------
not just any phone will take it only SD slotted phones but this will obviously take the memory card option really difficult to do, unless you like switching these cards all the time.................on the other hand you could always make that brick you call the i930 BT capable by adding another large object to it, the old and cumbersome BT headset with adapter.|

Angry SMS bullsh!t...

I have a concern that I cannot seem to find an answer to anywhere...maybe you guys could help me; or at the very least point me to the thread where I can find the answer:

Why can't I send or receive good old fashioned SMS text messages with this phone? Everytime I try, I receive an error message that says: "Sending an SMS Message from your phone is available in GSM mode only."

What is the deal now? Good old Nextel...screwing things up as is their wont.

Please tell me there is a way to fix this w/o totally screwing up the phone...b/c overall, I like it.
