correct less color screen because windows can only support 65,000 color in comparison to the i870 which will be better than the i860 screen.|

i870

Yeah I heard the same thing from a nextel employee. I also have a contact a Jabil that has played with both of them and likes the i870 better. I was in the store to purchase my i930 and the salesman practically talked me out of it with his raving about the 870.

If I sold phones to an individual that I knew owned a real estate company and 90% of that industry uses Nextel phones, I wouldn't sell an individual a sub-par phone just to get a "sale." Especially if that individual brought me 3 sales a month like clockwork. But you enjoy your i930. Maybe you can get $50 for it on ebay when the 870 comes out.

Talking

you will still be able to get a descent amount of money for it.......it is a phone for business people not us the general public or the youth for that matter, the 870 on the other hand is directed towards us in a major way..............with its supperior screen/integrated mp3 controls on the front/1.3mp camera/BlueTooth/microSD.............all the stuff WE want (think we need), the older generation wants a device to be able to get stuff done with work thus the i930 and its windows OS.|

Well I have individual devices for that. (i.e. my i830 and my Palm Lifedrive) The integrated devices don't serve me well. I had a blackberry until the palm software had an issue. Then I had to take it to Nextel's techs in the mean while, I had no phone because they had no replacement units. So if either the phone or the PDA system malfunctions you have to survive without both. Business people figure that out after buying multifunctioning machines. (i.e. printer/fax/copier/scanners never have the integrity of a component setup) That's like buying a coaxial speaker instead of a separate driver and tweeter. The separation lets the techs focus on making one superior product instead of 2 or 3 mediocre ones combined.

well we all know that if you buy like "clockwork" you develop connects and should be able to hook you up but in your case i guess not. ill rock the 930, then ill buy the 870, which ever one i dont like will be my back up or i will sell to someone like yourself

Correct the I870 is far better and the display is unbelieveable I loved mine and the bluetooth is clear as hell. The only thing I didn't like was the outter displas the same as the I860 and once you look at the inner for a while the outter looks black abd white it is so dull. But not much impresses me but this phone did. The inner buttons were awesome feeling like a they are gel filled. If you have not had a chance to play with this phone let me tell you it is worth the wait.

He is correct I have had both of them I get the phones 6 months before release play with them for a week and sell them and the I870 impressed the hell out of me. I don't care about a camera but it is very clear and wish the MP3 player wasn't there but what the hell.
