How do people, like you, get phones in your hands early? Just wondering. I've seen the "demo" units and what not on ebay way before they are for sale. How do people get in the position to make this happen?

I wasn't expecting an answer of "Call Joe at 888-555-1234 ext 5436 and ask for an early release of all new phones". The first part of your answer was all I was looking for. Or maybe "I work for nextel and get to demo the phones", "I work for Motorola and get to demo the phones", or... you get the point.

Thanks again for the answer.

I was able to find one here in Columbus, Ohio yesterday. I paid 260 plus tax. I honestly LOVE the phone. The retailer who I went to told me that Nextel nad Moto slow released the phone to ensure there weren't any bugs in the software. He also told me that it should be out in full force around the 1st week of November. I have to say using this phone is totally different. It is great, and I love the fact that now I don't have to take my PDA and my phone to work everyday. I was comparing the 2 and with the exception of a couple of small things that I don't use on my PDA anyway, the i930 does everything I need it too!! Great job Moto and Nextel....I'll never call them sprint by the way

Picture Caller ID

Does anyone know how to get picture caller id on the I930 phone. I was told there is a program needed to do it. Does anyone now what it is?

From my understanding, you can't use Webjal/MyWebjal with this phone, you will need a new program to fit the Wallpapers/etc..properly on this phone.

I ordered my I930 off eBay for a total of $499, plus I will get the CD filled with ringtones, wallpapers, animated wallers, etc..especially made for the I930. It comes laoded with the programs as well, so after I play around with it, I'll post back.

I'm a bit surprised that the screen resoultion display reportely will not be as good as the I870/I860.

Ells04, interesting. Any chance the I930 software can be upgraded, say via a firmware to Windows Mobile 2005?
