registration log "mo^&##(@*++)&ers"
#,*,menu, right arrow my *** ! Master reset !!! my ***. I HAD the baddest phone on the planet. Bought my i870 in Nov.2005. She has been off of the roof top a few times, fell from my tool box doing 70 down the freeway, been stepped on, kicked, flung, chucked, punted, etc.. And somehow managed to survive it all, EXCEPT Nextel support. After all of these years she stopped connecting to the internet. So I called Nextel Support. They ran through some stuff. Nothing worked, so they took me to MASTER RESET!! 6 zero's later and now the screen is stuck on "please wait, connecting". Tonight they finally got me to the registration log where it said,"no information available". To which the tech, much like the resident experts here, all agreed the phone was shot. Mother board defect. Whatever!! I say it's in the sim chip. Now I'm just a dumb general contractor, but here is what I did. Took my sim out and put it into a working nextel phone. Guess what ? It did the same thing. Now just to double check my facts, I took the working phones sim and put it in mine. And wouldn't you know it !! It works just fine. Now damaged phone, mother board, uncle panel, whatever... If that were the case would that have worked?? IF I'm right, why couldn't all those techies figure it out ???And most importantly, WHAT NOW ? THANKS

Re: registration log "mo^&##(@*++)&ers"
hey man i used to work for acs wich is the company that provides nextel and boost customer care service i have heard read and know bout a lot issues when technical department just ignore the customers am pretty sure that was a backlog that means ur phone had a misscomunication with the tower usally they change imsi they walk you tru a feature reset and then master reset and the problem should be solved in extreme cases they need to report to the higest technical department to fix it but u should call them and tell them a technician told you they where gonna send a network ticket they ussually run away from those thing and transfer u over to a sup
but they send the ticket thing and the fone gets fixed in two or three days tops |
