help im confused
Ok so my GF has a Nextel I 730 and i bought her a new I870 to replace it with. its a suprise and i wanted to steal her phone and replace it with the new one, but im not sure its gonna work.???
so my dilemma/question. if i take the sim card out of her phone, will all her info still be viewable on the new phone? and will it be activated and can i make phone calls just by putting her sim card in the new phone? |

Re: help im confused
I'm not to sure but I think the 730 has a different sim card than the 870 you maybe able to have your contacts but will not be able to save pic's again I'm not 100 percent sure.

Re: help im confused
it doesn't matter what phone you use. All your info stored STAYS on the sim card. you can swap it into other phones and you'll have all your contacts and everything

Re: help im confused
you don't have to activate anything. Just swap the SIM and your all set. You can make calls and all the same services. Just SWAP THE SIM, and your all set.

Re: help im confused
After few weeks, inclusive months, your Nextel service can become inestable if you dont call to Customer care, this is because you dont have your quipment registered on the system, and if you have Direct Protect insurance or Total Equipment Protection insurance (TEP) you can loose your protection and when you report your phone stolen/lost, they can denny you the claim.
Its better if you make a swap with customer care. Your contacts will be in your SIM card, but the games, ringtones, wallpapers and photos will remain in the old equipment´s internal memory. Mario Alberto Nextel CSR - Tier 1. |
