bluetooth on I870

I am having trouble with my bluetooth headsets on my I870. I have had the motorola h700 and have tried the nxzen 5500 and both headsets have a bad distortion when I am walking outside. The person I am talking to can not hear me and I can not hear them. Has anyone else had this problem. thanks

Try the Jabra BT160..Its a great lil peice, and I havent had any probs so far.

to minimize distortion you should have your phone on the same side of your body as the headset. Best bet would be to get a headset that has a wind screen on it like the plantronics voyager headset make sure the volume is up on the headset

no i have no issues with my bluetooth on my i870 sound like you just have a couple cheap headsets

I have had 2 motoh700 one was off ebay and i thought that might be the prob but then i bought one from compusa and that one did the same thing. And then i bought the nxzen from jr.com and it did the same thing. I wear it on the same side and all three did the samething. They have real bad static.

see if you can use the headsets of antoher bluetooth capable phone see if problem continues I would get the unit swapped if it is a constant noticable issue.

the only time i have [problems is when its windy outside then i get dostortion have you tried doing a master reset? they may help the problem

I've tried three headsets: The Jabra BT 250v had massive crackling unless the phone was less than 2 inches away; The Moto H500 was better but didnt fit on my little ear well; And finally the Plantronics Discovery 640: I love it and buying a 645... I love it so much:

PS. When I walk in the parking lot at Walmart, the crackling was bad on the Jabra and the 640...Big brother is listening
