I don't like the Cell Skins myself. Had one on a Phat Farm 733 awhile back and when I went to take it off it peeled a ton of the chrome off the phone.
Nothing wrong with a housing change if you have an i860 that actually functions properly. Since the i860 seems to be a real crap phone that most people end up swapping out 2+ times it's not really worth doing a housing change. |

cell skins are good if you are not tech savy. I don't recommend trying to change housings if you've never done one. The i860 can be a HUGE pain in the *** if you goof even once, the i860 has been an awesome phone I have not seen many issues with that phone of course its man made so you will always get a few crappy ones. Cell skins do come off when they get wet but if you are getting your phone wet the last thing you should be worried about is if the skin comes off or not. When you go to take one off your phone take a hair dryer to the phone heat up the skin evenly it will take a couple minutes then with a tweezer or pick pull at a corner and the glue should be sticky but should let the sticker go with no problem take some glass or electronic safe cleaner to the phone afterwards and you should be good to go.

if your not that tech savvy, but can use a hair dryer and a knife, faceplate changes are perfect.
here are four different ones for the i860 *******************/i860 i personally like them better, they look good, because you keep the black housing that makes it look sleek, and the faceplate/battery door that has a little bit of something to make it different. |
