How do I change the faceplate on my i730?

Anybody have a link to changing the faceplate on my motorola i730? I know it's supposed to be profressionally done, but I'm cheap and figured I'd see if I could do it myself before spending $25 to have someone do it for me. Thanks!

are you talking about the outside panel with the caller id in it? if so heat it up with a hairdryer or heat gun... then with a razor blade gently pry it up and there you go its off....

depends if you want to do just the faceplate or a full housing mod where you change everything. If you just want to do the CID display then yeah just heat it and your good if its a full housing mod if you have never opened a cell phone before then DON'T do the mod. YOU WILL **** UP YOUR phone. Its like fixing your car, if youve done it great if not don't
