Exclamation Direct Talk - The off network walkie talkie !

OK guys I need your feedback on how the new direct talk is working out ! I was involved today in a test with a government agency which I cant name... but anyway the test went very bad. We did a test on seeing about purchasing i355's for this agency and the results showed a range of only half of a mile to one mile. I have no clue where nextel gets up to a 6 mile range. Again just looking at feedback and seeing if you guys are really using it.

It is not a perfect system but it is cool that you get the option, hear in Minnesota we get alot of those fishing and hunting guys-you betcha- and they like to go where there is no service and that is more what it was designed for. Still better than nothing.
