We want to know what everyone wants to see here. What improvements would you like to see on the forum? Should we add some different forums or subforums? What do you look for when you visit forums? We are open to any comments and suggestions.

What about having a stickied Sprint-related thread that deals with things going on that side of the comapny? It looks to me like the two services will merge into one just like the seperate companies have - there is are dual mode iDEN/CDMA handsets in the works that will use iDEN for direct connect and CDMA for cellular. How that will affect current Nextel side customers is at this point rumor and speculation, but perhaps having a Sprint dedicated thread that is readily accessable would help gain some insight.

well first off good luck with the forum. you have alot to do as the members you had here im sure found new homes to go to. its basically a start over thing for sure. i say create your forums and make them user friendly. dont create to many as it will confuse new members. im not sure if youve been in the Iden seen or are barely just getting in.

people want tutorials. if you can cover that then youll be ok. remember customer service is the key. if your staff isnt good at what they do or dealing with members? then the board will stay the same. i honestly think you could of said a little more in the email but hey thats just me.

i dont recomend you copy and paste from anysite as it will give you a bad rep. there are new themes out right now you might be able to do somethnig with those to bring more traffic to the site. visit www.adminrevo.com for more advise if you need it. its an admin forum. thanks

I agree that we need to know what the plans are for the merge of the two companies. Then we should be able to ask questions in this forum like:

1. how will sprint/nextel communications/nextel partners merge?

2. what is the plan for us customers, get new phone for all 3 services?

3. will we have to get new phone numbers?

4. when will the towers be merged....some days my signal strength where I live is GREAT, but nextel's tower sends a message to my phone telling me "service restricted". I assume I am getting the signal from sprint nearby and my nextel phone does not have account info on their tower.

I heard thru the grapevine, that is not reliable, it may be 3rd qtr 2007!!!! It would be much better if we had sprint/nextell spokesman on this forum that could answer our questions.

I am not sure why you would think we would revoke your membership to the site, as long as you are spamming or flaming the board. Your input has been taken into thought and we have create a seperate subforum for discussion about the nextel/sprint merger. Please feel free to post any concerns and comments in there.

Thanks for the advice. I own a number of forums, so this isn't my first. As soon as Vb 3.6 goes gold we will be installing a new skin and many hacks to compliment the site.

free games are always good ...activities like contests things for patrons to do once they get here... not just check what the latest posts are....

also I was just going through the site seems like you need some moderators that know what they are doing to help out the newbies ... if the people come here to get assitants and they get it they will come back... if not ,well they wont...

I think you need variety, you need many forums, games, entertainment. I can go to many forums and have a nextel/sprint discussion. I think you know this site should be strong in that field but you need more to do and see. How about computer programs and help, video games, other cell phone needs, "adult" stuff, if this was my site I would fill it with everything and anything possible whatever you can do to draw more people to your site is the key. A site like acidstudioz.com is very good they have just about anything you can want, and that is what we should have hear.
